How To Pursue a Career In Plastic Technology
Academic Qualification :
If you have completed your Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent, you must have obtained at least 60% at Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (P C M) and at least 50% at either Class X or Class XII level in English.
In the field of plastic engineering, numerous institutions offer diploma, bachelor, and master's degree courses. During the course, students learn about the maintenance and construction of ships and other sailing vessels.
Diploma Course:
In order to get admission into diploma courses, you must pass the 10th examination.
It is a three-year duration program.
Diploma in plastic engineering
Bachelor Courses:
For this course, a minimum educational qualification of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects is required.
You can apply for UG courses in plastic engineering if you have completed a three-year diploma in plastic engineering
The duration of these courses is 4 years.
B.Tech/B.E. in plastic engineering
Master Courses:
Candidates must have completed a B.Tech in plastic engineering in order to qualify for M. Tech. or an M.Tech program can also be pursued after completing an M.Sc course in Physics or Chemistry.
It is a two-year duration program.

There are job opportunities for plastic technologists in public sector organizations, such as Oil India Limited, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Petroleum Conservation Research Association of India, and the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
