University of Toronto


Founded in the year 1827 the university is one of Canada’s leading educational institutions. It has been ranked amongst the top 20 in the world by Times Higher Education. The university has in total of 3 campuses St. George, Mississauga, and Scarborough. All of them are located in and around Toronto. They have 700 undergraduate programs and 280 master and doctoral programs on offer. The list of various disciplines taught at the university includes public health, applied science, management, and engineering. 


University of Montreal


The famous North American research university was founded in the year 1878. Located in the student city of Montreal the university offers a world-class educational experience for its students. As of now, they have 250 undergraduate and 350 graduate programs on offer. The university is also known to be affiliated with an engineering school called Polytechnique Montréal, and HEC Montréal, a business school. The primary language of instruction for most of the courses is French but there are bilingual programs as well. University of British Columbia


Located in the Canadian province of British Columbia the university is a reputed public institution. The university has two campuses one in Vancouver and the other in Okanagan, Kelowna. There are twelve faculties in the Vancouver campus, while the latter has seven faculties. Ranked one of the best in the top 100 universities in the world, the University of British Columbia offers international standard programs. The university is also known to be the home of Canada's national laboratory for particle and nuclear physics. McGill University


Established in the year 1821 the university is named after James McGill a Scottish businessman and philanthropist. It is one of the prestigious universities in Canada having an international student footfall from over 150 countries. The university offers degrees and diplomas in more than 400+ programs with some of the popular ones being engineering, medicine, management, and arts. It has two campuses approximately 20 miles apart from each other. One is the downtown campus in Montreal and the other is the Macdonald campus in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. 


University of Alberta


Established in the year 1908 the University of Alberta is rated amongst one of the top research universities. Initially, the university only offered three courses in mathematics, English, and modern languages. But with time, numerous other programs have been added to the list. Today it offers internationally acclaimed programs in the field of humanities, creative arts, sciences, health sciences, and engineering. The university today has a total enrolment of 32,863 students including 7000 international students from over 150 countries.
