Like the eligibility requirement for the other UPSC exams, the candidates appearing for CDS Examination should at least hold a graduation degree from a recognized university. The selection process involves a written exam which is followed by the Intelligence & Personality Test carried out in two stages.
Teachers Eligibility Test: For people who aspire for making a career in the teaching profession, cracking the TET could open up great opportunities. One can apply for jobs in government-run schools and can have the added benefit of a government job. Conducted by the state and the central government it comprises two papers. The first paper is for class I to Class VI and the second for Class VI to Class VII. People already possessing professional teaching qualifications are eligible to appear for the test. The minimum cut-off percentage to pass the test is 60%.
