BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of multi-national corporate or operational accounting experience.
CA or ICWAI qualification is a must.
Strong communications skills and ability to work effectively with teams in India and Seattle.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, a collaborative team player, and an excellent communicator.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Understanding of US GAAP, and Indian Accounting Standards and communicating frequently with External Auditors and Regulators ensuring that Amazon India is compliant with all applicable laws, pronouncements and regulations.
The candidate has a strong desire to exceed expectations and drive positive change across the organization and has effective interpersonal skills.
The candidate will also have strong written and oral communication skills, solid organizational, and risk assessment, and some information technology aptitude.
Prior experience in working/managing relationships with Big 4 auditors will be an added advantage especially in Accounting Technical department
