Job description

As a human resources manager at colgate-palmolive in mumbai, maharashtra, india, you will be responsible for managing hr operations, employee services, compliance, and total rewards (tr) administration to ensure statutory and policy adherence and provide a superior employee experience. You will serve as the central point of contact for hr operations, labour and benefits compliance, and reward administration for all employee groups.


Responsibilities:

Compliance, labour law & audits

  - Act as a single point of contact for all hr-related statutory and labour compliance operations across locations.

  - Front-end all statutory and labour compliance related audits.

  - Partner with labour consultants, external lawyers, and business hr to ensure ongoing compliance and timely resolution of compliance gaps.


Total rewards & benefits administration

  - Coordinate with payroll and cbs tr to calculate and process statutory bonuses in line with applicable laws.

  - Act as primary spoc with insurance brokers/tpas for group medical, accident, and term life insurances.

  - Oversee administration of gratuity, pf, edli, nps, superannuation, and other statutory and post-retirement benefits.


Leave & time management

  - Design and publish the annual leave calendar and holiday lists.

  - Resolve operational and system issues related to the leave management system (lms).

 3p (third-party) workforce & vendor management

  - Oversee end-to-end management of the third-party/contingent workforce.

  - Ensure vendor compliance with contractual, legal, and statutory requirements.

  

Process excellence, systems & analytics

  - Identify and implement hr process improvements and automation opportunities.

  - Leverage hr systems and analytics to monitor slas, turnaround times, and employee satisfaction.


Onboarding, offboarding & employment contracts

  - Design, implement, and continuously improve the onboarding and offboarding experience.

  - Draft, review, and maintain all employment templates and letters.


Hr operations & employee services

  - Act as a key point of contact for employees and managers for hr policies and benefits.

  - Maintain and update local hr portal content to ensure accessible, current hr information.

Required qualifications:

- Bachelors or master degree in human resources, business, law, or a related field.

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in hr operations, compliance, and/or total rewards administration.

- Strong exposure to indian labour laws, statutory benefits, and experience liaising with labour consultants.

- Previous experience in people management and advanced skills in excel, google sheets, and hr analytics.

Preferred qualifications:

- Working knowledge of hr systems.

- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
