BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- CA or equivalent degree with 6+ years of professional experience in Risk Management, Audit, or other similar risk consulting or internal control functions (e.g.compliance, fraud mitigation, etc.) in a retail or online services company.
- Great bias for action and be able to work iteratively.
- Proven ability to work with high levels of ambiguity.
- Demonstrated success leading project delivery for large, cross functional programs
- Demonstrated record of partnering with and influencing cross-functional teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- CMA or Masters degree in Finance/Accounting
- Understanding of auditing information systems and controls
- Experience in risk management, including; performing risk assessments and audits, designing controls, managing enterprise control frameworks, and prioritizing risk.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will prepare reports and make presentations to senior level management. You will interact with various levels of employees to collect and communicate information.
- Good analytical skills. Proven history of analyzing data and situations to identify meaningful observations.
- Willingness to dive deep into your own audits and support other audits. Self-starter, possess flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations.
- Big 4 accounting firm experience - Operational experience in Amazon or equivalent organization.
