BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of relevant experience in financial/business analysis
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Experience with SQL
Experience in Excel
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of analysis experience required in data science, business analytics, or comparable experience in other big data environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Data modeling, and ETL using non-relational sources (like Hadoop, EMR), and relational databases (like Redshift, Oracle)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including an ability to communicate with all cross-functional teams (technical and business)
• Experience driving small to medium-sized projects
• Candidates must be flexible with their working schedule (i.e. possible weekends, late shift, on-call, etc.). Should be open to a 24/7 work environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done; developing functional requirements to create new tools or refine existing ones, with a focus on transaction automation.
Ability to develop business cases with policy and/or implementation recommendations to handle new risks, including scaling with software.
A creative and analytical mind that thrives in a data-driven environment
