BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor or master's degree in Maths/Statistics/Analytics/Engineering (preferably in computer science) or another equivalent quantitative discipline
· 1 to 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst dealing with large complex data
· knowledge of SQL/Python/R, scripting, MS Excel, joining multiple tables, and using aggregate analytical functions.
· Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL.
· Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills
· Experience in working with at least one data visualization/BI tool (like Tableau, QlikView, OBIEE, etc.) with an understanding of BI technologies and their application including database warehousing and dashboarding.
· Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
· Attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects in parallel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Master’s degree in industrial engineering or another quantitative field preferred. Bachelor's degree or experience in computer science or another technical field is highly desired.
· knowledge of supply chain planning/execution concepts and processes
· Experience in communicating with senior management as well as with colleagues from computer science, operations research, and business backgrounds.
· A Strong individual contributor who can work with minimal direction and oversight
· knowledge of business statistics. Should be able to understand what statistical analysis to apply and comprehend the statistical test results to make decisions. Experience with regression modeling and forecasting, time series analysis, data mining, financial analysis, dynamic pricing, demand modeling, game theory, and customer/product segmentation
· Experience with e-commerce, retail or marketing analytics would be an advantage.
· Experience in designing and implementing custom reporting systems using an automation tool
