About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in the payments domain, including acquiring, card schemes, gateways, and fraud flows. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, hands-on experience with modern API frameworks, and a proven track record of working in agile software development environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead requirements engineering and problem definition across complex payment systems.

Translate large technical specifications into actionable insights for engineering teams.

Design and implement Business Analysis artefacts including process models, feature specifications, and stakeholder documentation.

Collaborate with solution designers and delivery teams to ensure alignment on business goals and technical feasibility.

Drive planning, estimation, and progress tracking for self and team deliverables.

Manage stakeholder relationships and facilitate cross-functional communication.

Own resolution of complex delivery issues and ensure quality of deliverables.

Support agile ceremonies and ensure continuous improvement in delivery practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong domain knowledge in payments, including:

Acquiring, card scheme/card issuer, gateway systems

Authorization, settlement, 3DS, fraud detection, and Account Funding flows

Expertise in RESTful APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, and modern API documentation practices.

Ability to distil complex technical documents into clear business requirements.

Experience in business process modeling and feature specification.

Proven success working with agile software development teams.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

Experience in global consulting environments or large-scale financial services projects.

Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and BPMN modeling tools.
