BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
· 5+ years of relevant professional experience in data science, data engineering, business intelligence, and/or business analytics
· Advanced skills in SQL, ETL, Data Warehouse solutions and databases
· Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, R, etc.
· Experience building and automating complex data pipelines, reporting, dashboard solutions
· Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Quicksight, Power BI, etc.)
· Experience with web frameworks such as Python-Flask/Django
· Background in machine learning, statistics, and data modeling
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or Mathematics
· 7+ years of experience as a BI Engineer, Business/Financial Analyst or Systems Analyst in an internet-based company with large, complex data sources
· Familiarity with AWS services including S3, Redshift, EMR, Lambda functions, Beanstalk, code pipeline, EC2
· Familiarity with ETLM, Redshift, EDX, DJS, Cradle, Andes
· Curiosity to learn and adapt to new technologies
· Proven success in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements and deliver impact on business intelligence tasks
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
· Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
· Ability to translate technical business requirements into high quality products
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Detail-oriented
