BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 4-7 years of experience in business intelligence or business analyst roles, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools, techniques, and technologies.
• Expert in designing, building, and maintaining large and complex datasets, reports, dashboards, and other BI solutions
• Expert knowledge in SQL. Can perform complex analysis using large datasets and optimize complex queries.
• Knows how to model data and design a data pipeline (ETL)
• Expert in building BI solutions that are efficient, testable, maintainable, and resistant to data quality issues
• Advanced skills in data visualization tools like Amazon Quicksight, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Basic understanding of a scripting language or R.
• Able to apply basic statistical methods (e.g. regression) for difficult business problems
• Able to refine requirements from business stakeholders into a functional design that solves the problem.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical field (computer science, finance, math, or statistics).
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
• Highly motivated, self-driven, capable of defining own design and test scenarios
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience with AWS Redshift and Data Science is plus
