Essential
• 4+ years of professional experience working on Azure cloud platform
• Production experience of containers and container orchestration tools (Docker/Kubernetes/Helm/FluxCD)
• Experience in working with enterprise scale applications, API Gateways, high availability architectures, load balancing & disaster recovery
• Knowledge of application and cloud security fundamentals
• Experience of setting up CI/CD pipelines including production deployments using Azure DevOps
• Solid troubleshooting skills
• Experience building and working with logging and metrics solutions using Azure Monitor, Dashboards, Workbooks etc.
• Provisioning/ Enablement/ Support to various Azure Services covering Compute, Storage, Networks, Integration services
• Experience on IaC Automation using Terraform and PowerShell
• Knowledge of testing pyramids and their application to modern application architectures (microservices/SPAs)
• Knowledge of modern infrastructure practices
• Demonstrable experience of debugging applications in at least one major language (e.g. Java/Python/NodeJS/Go)
• Knowledge of at least one package/dependency management system (e.g. Maven/Gradle/NPM/Composer/Yarn)
• In depth experience of Git including development and feature based workflows and at least one Git solution (e.g. Github/Gitlab/Gerrit/Bitbucket)
• Experience on ITSM processes

• Previous development/ Application Support experience
1.3 Education and Qualifications
• Educated to degree level or equivalent, with qualification in an IT, engineering or scientific discipline, desired
