Job Description
Communication Lead 
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES
The candidate will lead a team of internal communication experts supporting multiple Execution Hubs within iCORE. This would entail working with stakeholders at various levels (business leaders, HR, function heads) to understand the communication needs of the business, build communication strategy and lead the team in creating the communication. The role also requires the lead to be the conduit between corporate and iCORE for organization-wide campaigns and build iCORE brand in broader Wipro organization.

Key responsibility areas:
Team management: Managing colleague and team dynamics: work allocation, scheduling, issues and concerns.
Connect with business and HR leaders and create communications strategy for the business.
Help teams drive initiatives by creating robust communication plans - educate stakeholders on the key aspects of communicating effectively – what, how and when
Build string relationships with stakeholders, ensure that the communication team is seen as a partner and included in their strategic communication planning
Enable the team to co-create a detailed and comprehensive communication plan that includes campaigns for a global audience, takes into account all planned events - AHMs, R&Rs, event-based communication (fireside chats, calendar based events), leadership reach outs (blogs/ Know your leaders, etc.), colleague connects
Build and amplify leadership visibility (blogs/ coffee chats)
Support the cultural transformation of the organization through pertinent campaigns

Additionally, the candidate would be required to:
Build relationships at the corporate level to enable best practice sharing and translation of campaigns at the business level
Ensure that the team uses all tools (storytelling, newsletters, blogs) and channels (Intranet, yammer, mail) available to create engaging and impactful communication
Ensure that the viewership of Intranet shows an upward trend by keeping content relevant, updated and engaging
Track key communication efforts and measures and contribute to dashboards/reports.
Coach team members and help them lead initiatives, independently.

Stakeholder management at all levels in the organization
Ability to effectively collaborate with coworkers and subject matter experts to achieve stronger outcomes.
Strong listening skills with a proven ability to assess communication issues and then influence stakeholders to take desired actions.
Creative, innovative and the ability to think beyond the traditional framework
vAble to balance multiple priorities and work well independently and with teams, both in-person and virtually. Experience in working in a matrixed environment a plus.
Strong organization and project management skills
Resilient and adaptable to change, as the nature of our work and assignments evolve to meet business needs
Conflict resolution
 
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
10-15 years of relevant communication experience.
Strong writing, editing, and English grammar skills.
Demonstrated organizational, program management, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated relationship management skills and team management skills.
