Educational Qualification:

Project Assistant (Palm climber):

8th standard

Should possess coconut climbing skills.

Knowledge in pollination work in coconut.

Experience in nursery activities in coconut.

Project Assistant (Tractor/ Tiller Operator):

ITI in the trade of Mechanical Agriculture Machinery & LMV Driving License.

Knowledge of Agriculture Machinery.

Basic information on crop production technology of plantation crops.

Project Fellow :

B.Sc in Horticulture or Agriculture, Botany, applied Botany, Biosciences, Plantation Development or any Biological science.

Knowledge in pollination work in coconut.

Research experience in Seed production in plantation crops.

 Age Limit : 

30 years for men and 35 years for women as of the date of the interview.

Relaxable to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.

Salary:

Project Assistant (Palm climber)/ Project Assistant (Tractor/ Tiller Operator) : Rs.15,000/– per month + HRA

Project Fellow: Rs.20,000/- per month + HRA

Selection Process of CPCRI Recruitment 2023 :

The selection includes the Practical test / Written test / Interview.

Project Assistant (Palm climber): Practical test & Interview.

Project Assistant (Tractor/ Tiller Operator): Practical test & Interview.

Project Fellow: Written test & Interview.

Note :

Candidates should bring with them, their bio-data and original certificates in proof of age, caste, educational

qualifications, experience, etc., and a copy of the experience certificates.

Those who do not furnish the Original or Provisional Certificate will not be allowed to appear for the written test/ interview.

No TA will be paid for the journey for attending the interview.

The duration of the post will be the period of 3 years or up to the closure of the project, whichever is earlier.
