BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor or graduate degree in computer science (or related field)
5+ years of hands-on experience in writing complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large data sets; Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Dynamo DB), web servers (e.g. Apache, Apache Tomcat)
3+ years of hands-on experience in Python/R, JavaScript, AngularJS, Node.js
Strong understanding of ETL concepts and experience building them with large-scale, complex datasets.
Experience with DevOps tools like Docker, and Kubernetes with application deployment using CI/CD.
Dimensional Modeling experience.
Experience with scripting for automation.
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, and describe software product features, and technical designs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience in cluster-based or column-based databases
Experience with AWS Redshift, AWS Lambda, and AWS Glue.
Knowledge of best practices for coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
