BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
Experience in SQL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative/technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering).
5+ years of relevant experience in one of the following areas: Data engineering, database engineering, business intelligence or business analytics.
5+ years of hands-on experience in writing complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large data sets.
3+ years of experience in scripting languages like Python, Scala, and Pyspark.
Experience with Redshift, AWS services including RDS, Redshift, and EMR.
Knowledge of Distributed Systems as it pertains to data storage and computing
5+ Years experience in Data Modelling, ETL development, and Data warehousing.
Excellent Communication, Problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the Organization.
Manages priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and able to work alone as well as part of a team.
Willingness to get trained and learn new skills.
Demonstrates strong initiative and motivation with the ability to learn quickly.
