We are seeking a software engineer to provide cloud DevOps support for Digital Business Automation suite of SaaS offerings
• The role consists of reactive support in response to issues or customer cases on our SaaS offerings as well as pro-active support aligned with improving our overall SaaS posture.
• We provide 24/7 support covered across three 8 hour shifts in a day. You will work as part of the third shift which operates between 1am Pacific time and 9am Pacific time.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a member of the DevOps team, you will be responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of customer cloud environments hosted on IBM Cloud.
We are looking for candidates with strong diagnostic skills using industry standard tools and techniques, strong linux skills, and a proven background in cloud operations.
Your daily tasks would include resolving alerts on our hosted customer deployments across various offerings, responding to customer tickets, executing planned changes.
You would also be tasked with project work aimed at operational efficiency gains
The ideal candidate would have a strong technical aptitude and a flair for picking up new skills

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
7+ years of IT experience
At least 2 – 3 years in Cloud DevOps
Experience administering Cloud deployments for Business Automation Workflow (BAW)/ Operational Decision Management (ODM)/ BlueWorks Live (BWL)
Strong foundational knowledge of containerized deployments on Docker, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift and RedHat Enterprise Linux
Websphere administration skills. Liberty administration skills will be an added plus
The candidate should have a passion for continuous improvement in building knowledge base both technically and professionally
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
RHEL certifications would be an advantage as would knowledge of other DevOps tools
Prior experience with Ansible Automation and Observability frameworks
Strong administrative skills and a good team player
