Must-Have: 

•Experience in Data Services and Cloud Based Applications, testing experience on ETL applications and tools such as Python, Java, TestNG, TestRail, Jenkins, Amazon S3, Lambda 

•Must have delivered BDD test automation frameworks with data platforms 

•Good understanding and experience with continuous testing tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr and source code management tools including Git or GitHub 

•Experience working with global AGILE SCRUM Teams and vendor testing services teams 

•Experience in Agile methodology and measuring quality metrics for agile teams 

•Experience in Functional Automation, Regression, and Performance 

•Experience in ETL Development environment, SAP Hana, SAP ADP, BODS, CMC, Data Intelligence, Hana DB Explorer, Modeler, WebIDE, SAP Information Steward, etc. 

•Exposure to Fixed Income, Equities, Sustainable Investments, Securities, Bonds, Index lines of business 

•Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Familiarity with and/or accreditation in AWS or similar Cloud Technology 

•Must have proven test engineering capability with test scripting in Python experience preferred with good SQL Knowledge 

•ISEB / ISTQB foundation or above certification 

Good-to-have: 

•AWS and Banking Domain Knowledge 

•Experience with Jira a plus 

•Excellent understanding of integration patterns and databases. 

•Comfortable operating in a dynamic/Agile environment 

•Strong influencing skills and ability to challenge status-quo to deliver best practice solutions 

•Solid understanding of good practice in the modern end-to-end processes of defining, designing, building, testing, and releasing systems.

Responsibilities of / Expectations from the role: 

•To work within the  Shared Technology Data Services Global teams and be responsible for functional, non-functional, regression, and end-to-end certification of Data Services  

•Work with IDPS QA’s to implement QA strategies a cross the Data Services Quality Engineering function 

•Work with the existing Data Services SCRUM AGILE teams, Dev, BA, and QA resources to implement QA strategies consistent with the strategies across Data Services 

•Work with Technology Delivery Management, Product Engineering, Development, Testing, Support, Project Management, Operational Support, and Business stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements, agree on acceptance criteria, plan, design, and develop test scenarios and take ownership of testing cycles 

•Share understanding of modern test automation approaches (BDD etc) and how they fit into a continuous delivery and continuous testing model 

•Manage software testing of both Project changes working closely with related groups such as Technology Delivery Management, Development, Testing, and Support, and must have a solid understanding of test tools and techniques to perform test planning, analysis, and test execution (both manual and automated) 

•Management of stakeholder expectations, raising project delivery risks, and providing regular status updates 

•Participate in backlog grooming sessions and daily sprint 

•Support and assist Quality Assurance and Testing Managers in the management of quality and test assurance activities across all the product teams and contracted support partners.
