BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Strong networking fundamentals and understanding of networking protocols
• Expert knowledge of wireless on Wi-Fi networks, intermediate knowledge on mobile WAN (LTE/5G) and Bluetooth, and basic knowledge on other merging wireless technologies (such as LPWA)
• Intermediate knowledge on TCP/IP and related protocols
• Excellent QA aptitude and ability to drive process improvements
• Familiarity with hardware & Software development process and lifecycle
• Ability to work both independently as well as being part of a team
• English is required with high level of written and verbal communication skills which may be called upon to construct meeting agendas and lead meetings with internal and external participants
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field and 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, technical support or related activities.
• Solid hands-on experience in automation and test scripting using Java, Shell scripting, Python, Ruby On Rails, or other programming languages.
• Familiarity with user-level Automation tools/utilities such as UIAutomator, Selenium, Appium, or Monkey is a plus.
• Experience working in telecom industry
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
