Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualifications:
Junior Research Fellow in Computational Nanoelectronics:
B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. preferably with a qualified NET/GATE score, or M.E./M.Tech. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics, or Material Sciences.
Experience in mathematical modeling with MATLAB and Python. Prior experience with first-principle or molecular dynamics simulations will be a plus.
Duration: Initial appointment is for 6 months, extendable up to another 6 months based on performance.
Job Description:
The candidate will work on modeling and simulation of emerging two-dimensional (2D) materials heterostructures.
The candidate will have the opportunity to work with the atomistic simulation approaches e.g. DFT, Molecular Dynamics, and NEGF.
The candidate should be willing to participate in both the research and general activities of the group.
Subject to the performance and interest of the fellow, an opportunity to pursue a Ph.D. at IIT Gandhinagar may be considered.
Salary: Rs 25,000 – 31,000/-
