Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related technical discipline.
5+ years experience in 24/7 online environment with rotational on-call duties and real-time live-system responsibility.
5+ years experience B2B standards, including cXML, EDI(X12 and EDIFACT) and others.
Problem ticketing, incident management, and issue escalation experience
Experience with the full web stack, REST API development and technologies, and bug management support.
Experience with B2B communications standards and protocols – AS2, SFTP, HTTPS.
Experience writing functional design documents, create/maintain EDI maps and specifications, troubleshooting complex EDI failures, working with external EDI partners, and testing interconnected systems.
Experience with at least one EDI Software Implementation such as Gentran or Contivo.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues correctly and clearly to both internal and external customers.
Successful characteristics for the position are also the ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment.
Analytical approach to problem solving and a track record of driving results through continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with at least one MiddleWare software platform (Seeburger, Gentran, TLE, BizTalk, MuleSoft, Tibco etc.)
Knowledge of Java-based technologies
Proficiency at leveraging precious resources
History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
Well-timed tenacity and conviction
Language skills: Excellent knowledge of English
