Essential Qualification:

Project Junior Medical Officer :

MBBS degree from a recognized university.

Desirable: Aware of the latest guidelines in TB management.

Conducted/involved in research projects.

Good communication skills, Knowledge of Computers.

Applications and report writing.

Project Technician II (Health Assistant) :

High School * or equivalent with 5 years of work experience in the health field from a Government Institution or recognized institute.

Intermediate with Science subjects and B.Sc. shall be treated as equivalent to 2 and 3 years of experience respectively.

Desirable: Experience working on field research projects.

Experience working in a TB program.

Good communication skills.

Project Technician II (Field Assistant) :

High School * or equivalent with 5 years of work experience in fieldwork from a Government Institution or recognized institute.

Intermediate with Science subjects and B.Sc. shall be treated as equivalent to 2 and 3 years of experience respectively.

Desirable: Experience working on field research projects.

Experience working in TB program.

Good communication skills.

Age Limit : 

Junior Medical Officer: Not exceeding 35 years. 

Technicians: Not exceeding 28 years.

Age relaxation :

Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates, Retrenched Government Employees, Departmental Candidates (including projects), and Ex-Servicemen in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time.

Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other ICMR research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons.

Salary :

Junior Medical Officer: Rs 60,000/-

Technicians: Rs 17,000/-

All posts are Contractual for the duration offered.

The engagement may be renewed after every specific period of time subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements.
