BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• +8 years of work experience in the information security field, with at least 3+ years of relevant experience working with Threat and Vulnerability Management tools such as Qualys.
• Experience analyzing risk and prioritization of vulnerabilities, validating vulnerability reports, and driving remediation.
• Understanding of the overall threat and vulnerability management process, including metrics to measure performance
• Experience with troubleshooting and performing false positive analyses for both infrastructure and application layer vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of Unix, Windows, and AWS infrastructure, a basic understanding of administrative functions to support patching queries.
• Ability to foster collaborative, open, working relationships with technology and other stakeholders.
• Establish, drive and optimize vulnerability management processes such as exceptions and advisories.
• Demonstrated experience in achieving shared objectives in a matrixed organization, coordinating projects and services across business and organizational boundaries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with SQL queries to generate vulnerability reports and metrics
• Basic programming knowledge with any modern language such as Java, C++, or C#
• Advanced security certifications (CISSP, CSSLP, OSWE, CASS, GPEN, CEH, or CISM) are appreciated
