BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Proficient in embedded software development using C, C++
Proficient in implementing embedded software ranging from the high-level application to low-level hardware device drivers.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and concepts
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Familiarity with diverse 8/ 16/32 bit microcontroller families
Good understanding of key peripherals including USB, Ethernet, DDR, PCIe, CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, I2S
Experience with all phases of development, including design, implementation, and operation of production systems
Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills
Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
Experience taking a lead role in developing complex software systems that have successfully been delivered to customers.
