BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 1+ years of experience contributing to new and current systems' architecture and design patterns, reliability, and scaling architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
Software Development Engineers will be responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and supporting large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications and tools.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Possess an extremely sound understanding of areas in the essential areas of Computer Science such as Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, and Databases.
- Can write Amazon quality code in an object-oriented language - preferably in Java in a Linux environment.
- Candidate must have good written and oral communication skills, be a fast learner and have the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced development environment.
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous architectures
