BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, related technical discipline, or related industry experience
Minimum 10 years of software development experience and a track record of shipping software on time in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment.
3+ years of experience in managing people and leading highly-skilled software engineering teams.
Experience converting high-level product requirements into software architectures and designs.
Experience building distributed computing and large-scale services.
Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance, and reliability.
Experience with Java, C++, or similar procedural, object-oriented programming language
Experience working on an engineering team using Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban).
At least 2 years of experience developing on Linux/Unix platforms.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Deep hands-on technical experience with developing and maintaining large-scale cloud and extensive data services.
Strong business and technical vision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional customer relationship skills include discovering the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommending alternative technical, and leading engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
Prior experience with developing Machine Learning tools and services.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies
Experience managing service-oriented software systems.
