Job responsibilities

-Responsible for the overall systems development life cycle of key product sub-systems

-Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments

-Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile/Scrum environment

-Management of departmental resources, staffing, mentoring and enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class engineering team

-Work closely with the engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach

-Report on the status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 7+ years of relevant engineering experience

· 3+ years of people management experience, managing engineers

· Experience in partnering with product and program management teams


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in Agile/SCRUM enterprise-scale software development

· Experience building scalable infrastructure software or distributed systems

· Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a highly innovative and fast-paced environment

· An analytical mind that thrives in a data-driven environment

· Strong organizational planning and development, business judgment, technical leadership, and communication skills

· Experience with AWS technologies
