Responsibilities:
- The Azure Backup team, as a vital part of the larger Azure Core organisation, gives you the chance to learn, build, and run a globally available world-class Azure service alongside industry experts and technology stacks spanning high-scale data stores, data movers, distributed workloads, and REST-based management.
- We're searching for engineers who are enthusiastic about distributed storage and enjoy addressing problems including data integrity, scale, performance, durability, availability, and security while minimising operational costs.
- We use an agile monthly sprint methodology with full stack development and are proud of our strong Live Site, customer-centric culture, and e-commerce capabilities.
Required Qualification:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar discipline is required, as well as a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Managed code or object-oriented programming is a must-have skill. Experience with distributed computing or cloud computing is a big benefit.
- A strong desire for large-scale storage
- A technical leader with more than five years of expertise designing, developing, and testing software systems or services.
- A can-do attitude and a never-say-die spirit, as well as the capacity to learn quickly and get right in. Excellent client service.
- Someone who contributes to the success of others. Someone who isn't frightened to seek assistance. Someone with whom it is a pleasure to collaborate!
