BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

4+ years of professional software development experience

3+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language

2+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems

Experience as a mentor, tech lead, OR leading an engineering team

Bachelors (BS/BE) in Computer Science or related field

6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience in full-stack product life cycles including developing of UX and/or back-end services.

3+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.

Top Notch programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

Experience of modern web development technologies and techniques (HTML5, CSS 3.0 & JavaScript Libraries/Frameworks, React, Nodejs etc)

Experience developing objected-oriented software

Demonstrated passion for user experience design and improving usability

Strong sense of ownership and drive

Sharp problem-solving skills and ability to resolve ambiguous requirements

Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and designing for performance, scalability, and availability

Ability to learn new technologies and systems

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Full-stack experience, including front-end, middle-tier, and services

Familiarity with modern UI frameworks such as React, Nodejs, Edge cache etc.

Experience building and integrating with high-scale services

Experience with AWS products (S3, Lambda, DynamoDb, etc.)

Knowledge of software development methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an developer role

Object-oriented and test-driven design and coding skills

Coding experience with automated frameworks, tools, and services

Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

Ability to think abstractly and deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems

Experience in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies

Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team

Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills
