BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience scripting or coding
- Experience developing high-quality test plans, test designs, test strategies, and test execution
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large-sized projects
- 4+ years of relevant experience in QA testing and debugging
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Embedded/EE or a similar technical field
- 3+ years of experience in automation development and testing using Python, experience in automating the test cases for embedded software.
- Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, OOPs, and complexity analysis
- Experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in wireless connectivity in either WiFi, BT, BLE, Zigbee, or other Smart home technologies
- Knowledge of all the layers of the OSI model, TCP/IP, Socket programming
- Knowledge of industry-standard test automation tools and experience developing product test harnesses
- Experience with Android, iOS, or other mobile application development or testing
- Hands-on experience in either Python, Perl, Java, C/C++
- Experience working cross-functionally with different stakeholders including development and business teams
