Roles & Responsibilities:
- Inform the engineering team of your vision.
- Create and lead research teams of senior and junior engineers to define and choose development technology and platforms, as well as development standards, tools, and procedures.
- Ensure that development teams working on related or similar projects share technical information.
- Identify technical debt and product areas that require attention or improvement at the architecture level before they become a problem.
- Research new techniques, tools, and best practises in the software architecture and design area to keep yourself and your team up to date on technological breakthroughs.
- Make recommendations for changes to our technological stack in order to optimise it for strategic growth and competitiveness.
Skills:
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, React JS, Angular JS, Node JS, and JavaScript ES6 for designing user interfaces and rich web apps.
- Node.js and Express.js experience
- Detailed knowledge of front-end architectures and design patterns such as MV-VM, Observer, Decorator, Facade, and others.
- Solid OOPS ideas and the ability to use sequence diagrams and other tools to depict high-level architecture and implementation design.
- Extensible Javascript framework design experience is required.
- Exposure to a variety of authentication scenarios, including OAuth, JWT, certificate-based authentication, and PKCE.
- Widget and SDK design experience is a great advantage.
