Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expertise in equipment safeguarding, such as pumps, tanks, and vessels. Maintaining relevant and up-to-date safeguarding manuals.
- Flare system design fundamentals are understood. Verification of overpressure relief scenarios and guarantee of adequate protection, including PRV and PVV capacity verification.
- Assist with the Management of Car Seals and the Impairment of Safeguarding Devices
- For plant changes, significant maintenance, turnarounds, and projects, provide assurance and guidance on Statements of Fitness-Pre-Startup Safety (SoF-PSSRs).
- Estimation of LOPC levels for APIs with complicated interfaces Process Safety occurrences
- Act as a Technical Safety Reviewer and PHA Facilitator for Plant Changes (MoCs), such as HAZOPs, What-Ifs, and other similar scenarios.
- As a resource, apply Process Safety Principles to Facility Siting.
- Assist in the implementation of Process Safety Safe Work Practices.
- To assure success, use the risk-based decision-making process.
