Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Senior Scientist-cum-Head :

Doctoral degree in the relevant field of Agriculture/ Animal Science/ Fisheries/ Community Science/ Horticulture/ Sericulture with 8 years of experience (excluding the period spent in obtaining a PhD Degree) in the relevant subject as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position and having contributions to research/ teaching/ extension education as evidenced by published work/ innovations and impact.

Specializations in implementing extension education programmes.

Subject Matter Specialist: Master’s degree in Agriculture /Animal Science/ Community Science/ Fisheries Science from a recognized University.

Programme Assistant (Lab technician): Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Animal Science/Fishery Science/Community Science/ Horticulture/ Sericulture from a recognized University.

Programme Assistant (Computer): Bachelor’s  Degree in the relevant field     (Computer   Science/Computer Application/Information Technology) or equivalent from a recognized University.

Farm Manager (T4): Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Animal Science/Fishery Science/ Horticulture/ Sericulture from a recognized University.

Stenographer Grade-III :

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with working knowledge of comp (minimum 6 months Diploma in Computer Application).

The candidates will be given one dictation test in English at 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes. The candidates will be required to transcribe the matter in 50 minutes on the computer.

Driver :

Passed HSLC or its equivalent examinations from a recognized board.

Driving license for both heavy (Tractor, power tiller etc.) and light vehicles from the appropriate Authority (the candidate will have to pass the practical skill test to be taken by an appropriate Committee of the University.

Two (2) years experience of driving.

One year trade certificate in the relevant field from ITI, Experience in motor mechanic work.

Supporting Staff: Matriculation or equivalent pass or ITT pass.

Age Limit ( As on 01 January 2023 ) :

Senior Scientist-cum-Head : 47 Years

Subject Matter Specialist / Programme Assistant (Lab technician) / Programme Assistant (Computer) / Farm Manager (T4) : 38 years

Stenographer Grade-III / Driver / Supporting Staff: 40 years

Senior Scientist-cum-Head:  Rs. 1, 31,400/- 

Subject Matter Specialist:  Rs.56,100/-

Stenographer Grade-III: Rs. 25,500/- 

Driver:  Rs.21,700/- 

Supporting Staff:  Rs.18,000/-

Selection Process of AAU Recruitment 2023 :

The selection process may include the Interview.

Rs.500/- in the case of general candidates.
