Roles & Responsibilities:
- On company servers and PCs, installing, monitoring, and upgrading LINUX UNIX system software.
- UNIX LINUX user accounts and access management systems creation and maintenance.
- Developing and implementing standardized backup, recovery, and security policies. Patches and upgrades are applied when needed.
- In a complicated, multi-layered environment, assisting in the resolution of hardware-software platform challenges.
- Examining the impact of software modifications on other departments.
- Maintaining statistics on space utilization and forecasting future space requirements.
- Best Unix Administrator practises should be established, implemented, and documented.
- At least three years of UNIX administration experience is required.
- UNIX and LINUX operating systems, storage environments, network protocols, and file systems are all well-versed.
- Expertise in a variety of information technologies, including operating systems, server virtualization, cloud-based infrastructure, automation, and middleware.
