Physical Standards:  A candidate must be physically and medically fit in all respects.
Employment: Gainfully Employed.
Note: Serving members of the Regular Army/ Navy/ Air Force/ Police/GREF/ Para Military and like forces are not eligible
Training: Six months Pre-Commission Training as provided in TA Rule 20A amended vide SRO 65 dt 29 Apr 2023. (Candidates shall be commissioned in TA only on successful completion of the said PreCommission Training
Age Limit(As on 21 November 2023): 18 to 42 years

Salary: 
Lieutenan: Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500/-
Captain: Rs. 61,300-1,93,900/-
Major: Rs. 69,400-2,07,200/-
Lieutenant Colonel: Rs.1,21,200-2,12,400/-
Colonel: Rs. 1,30,600-2,15,900/-
Brigadier: Rs.1,39,600-2,17,600/-

Selection Process:
The selection process will be based on the Online Entrance Exam
The duration of the exam is Maximum time is 02 hours and it is a Computer based test (CBT)
The standard of the papers in Elementary Mathematics will be of Matriculation level. The standard of papers in other subjects will
approximately be such as may be expected of a graduate of an Indian university.
For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-third (0.33%) of marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty
Candidates whose application forms are found correct and declared successful in the online entrance exam will be detailed for intelligence and personality tests at the Service Selection Board
Two-stage selection procedure based on the Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test has been introduced at Service Selection Boards
All the candidates will be put to stage one test on the first day of reporting at Selection Centres.
Only those candidates who qualify at stage one will be admitted to these soundstage/remaining tests and all those who fail to pass stage one, will be returned
The male and female candidates will be placed in separate order of merit on the basis of the total marks secured by them in the online entrance examination and in the SSB tests.
The admit card will be made available online for download by the candidate.
The date/time of the examination and also the name and address of the examination centre will be sent to the candidates through email & SMS alert
