JOB DESCRIPTION:

C/C++, Embedded Systems, Firmware, Device Drivers, Product Security, OWASP, SAN, CWE Device Security Architect

The person will own and work onset of various tasks required to make a device secure throughout the device life cycle i.e. from design to deployment to decommissioning

These activities include Security requirements analysis, Security assessment of a device, secure design, and implementation, secure testing, Device security management, etc.

The person will also provide consultancy on various security aspects to HCL delivery teams and HCL s customers.

The person will have close interactions with HCL delivery teams and HCL s customers.

The overall experience of 8-12 years is desired of which 3-5 years must be in device security or application security.

Mandatory Skills

Experience in Secure SDLC (Secure Software Development Life cycle) Knowledge on Security Design Principles Advice and guide product security Security by Default, Security by Design and Security by Deployment Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, PKI, authentication, authorization, Key Management and best practices Broad technical knowledge: from embedded IoT devices to cloud deployed services Familiar with OWASP project (Top 10, ASVS, SAMM, )

Software Development skills:

Very good design and coding experience in at least one of the following combinations o C / C++ and Linux / RTOSo C# / .Net and Windows Java and Linux Desired Skills Embedded systems Threat modeling Experience Knowledge and experience in using penetration testing tools Python Programming NIST, ISO, PCI, HIPPA and other Security frameworks Security Certifications CSSLP, IEC 62443 Understanding of reverse engineering concepts

Soft Skills: Keen interest in exploring new technology and trends in the cyber security domain Excellent Communication Skill Good interpersonal skills Ability to challenge the status quo
