Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Subject Matter Specialist (Horticulture):
An MSc in Horticulture with 55% marks(or an equivalent grade in OGPA/point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
NET conducted by ICAR or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree following the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET.
Desirable: Knowledge of Malayalam language to read and write.
Duration: The appointment will be purely provisional for one year or till the appointment of regular hands, whichever is earlier.
Age Limit(As on 01 January 2023): shall not be over 50 years
Age Relaxation: The age limit is relaxable in the case of SC/ST/OBC and differently abled categories as
prescribed in the KS&SSR 1958 as amended from time to time.
Salary: Rs. 44,100/- per month.
Selection Process:
The selection process is based on the performance in Interviews.
