Detailed Eligibility
Educational Qualification :
Lower Division Assistant in the Meghalaya Secretariat:
Graduate in any stream from a University recognized by the Government or any Examination declared equivalent thereto.
Age Limit ( As of 1st January 2023): 18 – 32 Years
Age Relaxation :
Direct Recruitment to Group C & D Posts – Relaxable by 10 years (15 years for STs/SCs)
Direct Recruitment to Group A & B Posts where recruitment is made other than through open competitive examination – Relaxable by 5 years (10 years for STs/SCs)
Direct Recruitment to Group A & B Posts where recruitment is made through open competitive examination – Relaxable by 10 years (15 years for STs/SCs)
No of vacancies: 118 Posts

Ezoic
KJ – 47 Posts

Other SC/ST – 06 Posts
Salary: Level 8 of the Pay matrix
Selection Process for Meghalaya PSC Recruitment 2023 :
The selection process includes the Screening Test and Personal Interview.
Screening Test consisting of the following subjects:
General English – 150 Marks
General Awareness & Aptitude – 150 Marks
Personal Interview: Only those candidates who are declared to have passed the Screening Test shall be eligible for the personal Interview. The number of candidates who will be called for the Personal Interview will be as per the decision made by the Commission from time to time.
Application Fees:
Rs. 320 /-
Rs.160/- for SC/ST who are permanent residents of the State of Meghalaya.
For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWDs), the Application Fee is exempted.
Application Fees mode: e-Challan (Cash Payment)/Debit cum ATM Cards/Credit Cards/Net Banking.
