Educational Qualification:

Technical Assistant: 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum three years duration) in Science Subject/ Medical laboratory technology (B.Sc MLT) from a recognized University

Technician(MLT): 12th or Intermediate pass in Science subject with 55% marks and at least one-year Diploma in a relevant field such as Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology

(DMLT)

Technician(Computer/IT): 12th or Intermediate pass in Science subject with 55% marks and at least one-year Diploma in a relevant field such as a Diploma in Computer/IT recognized institution

Age Limit(As on 04 August 2023):

Technical Assistant: 30 Years

Technician(MLT): 30 Years

Technician(Computer/IT): 28 Years

Selection Process:

The selection process includes Interviews.

95 per cent weightage will be given to the marks scored by the candidate in the CBT (Computer Based Test), and 5 per cent weightage will be given for research/lab/field experience in any Government recognized/approved/registered institution or Organisation obtained as prescribed in the recruitment rule/advertisement.

The 5 per cent weightage for post Essential Qualification research/lab/field experience in any government-recognised / approved/registered Institution or Organisation will be added to the marks scored by the candidate in the CBT as mentioned below

> 1 and up to 2 years 1 marks

>2and<4years 2 marks

>4and<6years 3 marks

>6and<8years 4 marks

>: 8 years 5 marks

The date, time and venue of CBT (Computer Based Test) will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates through call letters / admit cards and no enquiry i request in this regard will be entertained.

ICMR employees are not exempted from the payment of application fees for direct recruitment posts
